2016 could be the last year to deduct PMI

 

Congress must renew the PMI income tax deduction which has been in effect since '07 and expires this year.  Experts predict it will not be renewed or may possibly be phased out.

Anyone with less than 20% down payment or 20% equity in a refinance would be affected.
